In addition, it is able to reduce unpleasant odours. Instead of using activated carbon in the form of granules inside the foam, here the pores of the entire foam are coated with activated carbon to ensure even cleaning. The coating can also be recognised by the slightly harder structure of the foam.  Completely pH-neutral, Tetra INX Carbon Filter Foam has no effect on essential water values like pH or KH, ensuring safe and gentle filtration for all freshwater aquariums. To achieve optimal results, Tetra recommends changing the carbon foams monthly.
