Maintaining the correct pH level consistently and over the long term is crucial for the health of ornamental fish, plants and microorganisms in your aquarium or ornamental pond. Tetra Test pH allows you to quickly and accurately measure the pH value of your water – one of the most important indicators of water quality. Sudden or extreme pH changes can cause stress or harm to aquatic life, so weekly testing helps to ensure a stable, healthy environment for all inhabitants. Attention: This liquid test contains 2-Propanol. It is flammable and emits fumes. The liquid can cause serious eye irritation. Rinse your eyes under running water if you have accidental contact. The vapour can cause drowsiness or dizziness if inhaled. Always keep out of reach of children.  The test reliably measures pH values between 5.0 and 10.0, covering the full range relevant for freshwater aquariums and ornamental ponds. For most species, a pH level between 6.5 and 8.5 is ideal. Tetra Test pH is easy to use: simply collect a water sample, add a few drops of reagent, and compare the colour result against the enclosed chart to determine your pH value. It includes a 10 ml test reagent, test vial, colour chart and instructions for safe, straightforward use. If your results show a deviation from the ideal pH range, you can easily correct it using Tetra pH/KH Minus or Tetra pH/KH Plus for aquariums, or Tetra Pond WaterStabiliser for ornamental ponds.
