Tetra pH/KH Minus is a reliable solution for safely reducing carbonate hardness (KH) in your aquarium. By lowering the KH, the pH value also decreases automatically, creating optimal water parameters for certain fish species. Many freshwater ornamental fish thrive in environments with a KH of 4° dH and a pH below 7.5, making this product essential for maintaining suitable living conditions. To use Tetra pH/KH Minus, add up to 25 ml per 100 L of aquarium water, using the dosing cap for accurate measurement. Repeat this every 2 to 3 days until the desired KH level is reached, as each dosage will lower the KH by approximately 2 °dH. During treatment, ensure proper aeration by using the Tetra APS range and avoid adding CO2. Use e.g. Tetra Test 7in1 to determine the water parameters in your aquarium. Regular testing of water parameters is important to maintain KH levels between 2 – 4 °dH to prevent significant drops in pH. For long-term management of KH and pH, add 5 ml per 100 L every 2 to 3 days, which will gradually reduce KH by about 0.4 °dH per dosage. Consistent application will help achieve stable water conditions for your fish.  Please handle Tetra pH/KH Minus with caution, as it can cause severe skin burns and eye damage.
