The packs are available in two different versions to fit the multiple sizes of the Tetra EasyCrystal Filter. Furthermore, this product is available with additional activated carbon in case of water clouding and unpleasant odours. The double-layered filter floss pads with a large surface area reliably remove even the finest particles: the first layer acts as a coarse pre-filter, while the second one functions as a fine filter. Furthermore, the material promotes the settlement of biologically active bacterial cultures that for example converte harmful nitrite into nitrate and reduce sludge. The EasyCrystal Filter Packs allow a quick and clean replacement - no rinsing, no wet hands. For best results, the cartridge should be replaced every four weeks. Important: The cartridge must be inserted into the filter with the green side (or beige side for the FilterBox 600) facing the front of the unit.
