CO2 is an essential nutrient often insufficient in aquarium water. By dosing twice daily to achieve a concentration of 5–15 mg/L, you stimulate vigorous photosynthesis and lush plant growth, which absorbs excess nutrients, naturally deters algae and raises oxygen levels for healthier fish. Monitor the CO2 level in your aquarium by using the practical Tetra Test 7in1. For even more intensive care, apply Tetra PlantaMin once a month or dose Tetra Crypto directly to the roots. This product is supplied in a pressurised container - keep it away from heat, open flames, sparks and direct sunlight. Never expose it to temperatures above 50 °C, and do not pierce or burn it.
