Place a sack cloth or similar material in your plant basket and half fill it with Tetra Pond AquaticCompost. Press the soil down firmly to prevent air pockets.
Remove any plant weights and packaging. Place the plant in the basket and hold it so that the bottoms of the buds are level with the rim of the basket. If necessary, trim the roots to avoid bending them as this could impede the plant’s growth. Use soil from the pond to fill the basket to approximately 2.5 cm below the rim. Press the pond soil down firmly and top up if necessary.
Add a layer of approximately 2.5 cm of washed, lime-free gravel to the soil to prevent it from being dug up by the fish. Remove any protruding sack cloth or similar material and thoroughly water the plants before placing them in the pond. Lower the plants into the pond slowly so as not to damage them.
