The name "Explorer Line", says it all, as the 180° curved front pane creates a magnifying effect from all angles, offering the observer a great way of exploring the exciting world of underwater life. The aquaria can also be set up in a variety of different ways; for instance, while the 30-litre tank is perfect for keeping crustaceans, the 60-litre version can be set up as a mixed tank with species from South America, or used to keep cichlids or live-bearing fish.
Consumers will also be impressed by the technical equipment used in the new Tetra AquaArt Explorer Line aquaria, and particularly by the use of novel LED lighting with chip-on-board (COB) technology. This technique requires minimal energy to guarantee optimum results and offers a service life of 50,000 hours, making it a highly economical and sustainable lighting solution. The technology uses special LED circuit board materials to improve thermal conductivity, which results in benefits such as a higher light output and an extended service life. What's more, the aquaria are equipped with a transparent cover that features a handy feeding hatch at the front and several slots at the back to make it easy to install equipment such as the Tetra EasyCrystal Filter. Cleaning the filter itself is also incredibly easy. By simply replacing the old filter cartridge every four weeks, you can minimise the level of work required and even keep your hands dry in the process.
As with all other Tetra AquaArt aquaria, the new Explorer Line tanks are also sold as complete sets. Both sizes are supplied with the Tetra EasyCrystal Filter, an attractive poster to decorate the rear wall of the aquarium and a sample pack of feed. The 60-litre version also comes complete with the HT 50 heater, as well as the care products required for the initial aquarium set-up.
