Once again Tetra managed to significantly reduce the use of plastic for their tins through the use of modern techniques: Three tin sizes are produced with new tools, which allows to reduce material usage by approximately 13% and thus to save annually more than 23,000 kg plastic (polypropylene). With this innovation, the currently feasible reductions have been fully exploited. Despite this changes, product and transport security endure of course in full.
